Since the inception of the honor guard, in addition to the military honors provided to veterans, they have participated in various functions such as those listed below. The Honor Guard's participation consists of acting as a color guard, providing 3 volleys and taps.

1990:
Participated in the National Convention as Color Guard for the State of Arkansas in August
Posted colors at the Arkansas State VFW Fall Festival in Little Rock in September
Provided 3 volleys and posted colors at the Veterans Day Ceremony-Little Rock
Participated in Hot Springs Christmas parade with color guard and float.

1991:
Participated in Desert Storm Troops Rally & Parade carrying National & Armed Forces flags
Posted colors Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday in Hot Springs, Arkansas
Posted colors at Grand Military Order of Cooties at Hot Springs, Arkansas
Posted colors for Rotary Club convention at Majestic Hotel, Hot Springs, Arkansas
